We carry two kinds of tubes: hang tubes and non-hang tubes.
Under the non-hang category, we carry these types:
Fliptop (rectangular)
Round
Square
Triangle
Under the hang tube category, we offer round tubes only. The hang tubes have two sub-categories: slotted and regular.
Slotted tubes cost more, but have the advantage of being very secure. The hang plugs have small nubs (bumps) on them, and once these are fitted into the slots in the tubes, there is almost no chance of the plug coming out by accident—for example, when a child in your bead store decides to tug some tubes to see what happens. In our store we put all of our seed beads in slotted hang tubes.
The same hang plugs will also fit into non-slotted (regular) tubes. These tubes cost less, and customers who are not concerned about tubes coming open by accident prefer them. (In larger tubes, the hang plugs have a ridge around the inner circumference instead of the two nubs. This helps to keep the plug from slipping out too easily. You can see this ridge in the "pressure fit hang plug" in the above photo.)
