In the world of industrial sewing, our bead cord is an industrial-strength multi-filament twisted nylon upholstery thread. In the bead world it is used for bead stringing, micro-macramé, cordmaking, bead crochet (with size 8/0 or larger seed beads), kumuhimo braiding, and more. We currently stock 64 colors and plan to add more in the future. Approx. 86 yards per bobbin. The thread diameter is approx. 0.5 mm and breaking strength is about 34 lbs.
Usage note: the bead cord comes off the bobbin with some curl to it. The fix is easy: as you're unwinding it, give it a good pull an arm's length at a time and voila! no more curl.
